Polaroid Instant Film Coming to a Store Near You...
The Impossible Project, which in March announced the success of their effort re-engineer analog instant film packs for Polaroid cameras, will open a New York store and gallery on April 30.

Kodak Retires KODACHROME Film
June 22, 2009 – “Eastman Kodak Company announced today that it will retire KODACHROME Color Film this year, concluding its 74-year run as a photography icon.”
Can’t say that I used it much but the images I’ve seen shot with Kodachrome easily rivaled the quality of Velvia or Ektachrome.

Photoshop Tip: Mirror Clone Stamp
Another great Photoshop (CS3 & CS4) tip via John Nack of Adobe. As of CS3 you have the ability to mirror any clone source in Photoshop. It doesn’t seem like it’s a documented feature:

Hewlett-Packard introduces MagCloud, a new service that “enables you to publish your own magazines.” Coming at just 20¢/page to purchase a magazine (plus shipping), publishers will have to create their magazine in-house and submit it as a finalized high-res PDF.
